- Lets the TSA Administrator start the pilot within 60 days after enactment, but only where the faster access does not compromise security protocols.
- Requires screening to follow each passenger's Secure Flight vetting status, and allows entry to expedited lanes only with a boarding pass showing TSA PreCheck or similar eligibility.
- Lets local airport management open or close checkpoint lanes and shift resources based on passenger volume.
- Gives priority to airports near military installations with many stationed personnel and enough space for dedicated lanes, and requires a briefing to Congress nine months after the pilot begins.
